Just because Lennon isn't the direct answer to some of the larger issues, doesn't mean we shouldn't forget he helps with other issues. Like hopefully not seeing Barkley, Naismith or Cleverly on the wing for extended periods of time.

Hopefully, although him and Mirallas didn't start a lot of games together last season.

It's not that really. A player from another country has an unpredictability. A player with ten years in the prem and a reputation for having no end product is just a bit 'meh'.
So you would rather we spunked money on an unproven player rather than a premier league experienced one on the cheap?

Aslong as he's NOT one of the supposed 3 signings the manager wants then I'm happy with this. Having a player of Lennon/Deloufeus pace to bring on off the bench to run at tired defenders will give us an advantage, right now we have nothing to come off the bench.

Also we can't rely on our wingers, Mirallas and Deloufeu pick up hamstring injuries due to their sprinting and Pienaar and mcgeady are finished/poor respectively

Lennon has been booted out of Spurs because he is not good enough for them.

He played well last season for us because he was playing for a contract. Lukaku and Barry looked like world beaters on loan - now a lot of fans are trying to work out how we can deal with their lack of effective contribution. In 12 months time we will be saying the same thing about Lennon.

My work colleague works the players boxes and centenary restaurant at Old Trafford on his days off and spoke to Evans' dad in his private box on Saturday. He asked him if he was back next game. He said probably not, and seemed to be saying his goodbyes to different members of staff, and taking bags of stuff from there.
