He must be doing something right. From his Wiki:

"At the end of the season Turner was named as the Official Supporters Club's player of the year for the third season in a row,[8] as well as the club's official player of the year for the second season in a row."

Utter no mark he is not!!!

He stood out as their most best central defender and obviously one of the reasons they were sat pretty in the premier league before christmas. How do you think they even got into the Prem last year? He's a leader.
He lacks a bit of pace but makes up for it with his reading of the game, comparable in some degrees to John Terry. And he offers a fantastic goal threat at corners and set pieces.
 
Is he the one Fellaini elbowed in the face about 3 times in a row....and somehow got away with it? :dodgy:

If this is true and Moyes would have liked Turner to replace Lescott, clearly Lescotts price should go up the longer Man City wait before making a proper bid;

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is making a stunning £9million move to sign Hull City giant Michael Turner - and beat Everton to his signature.
Hodgson will pay £4m and use striker Bobby Zamora in a swap for the powerful Londoner who is poised to be sold by the Tigers, who were shocked by the size of the bid.
Turner could be cleared for talks with the Craven Cottage side today.
Everton chief David Moyes also has his eyes on the defender in case Joleon Lescott goes to Manchester City.
Hodgson also needs Zamora to accept his part of the exchange to make the deal happen. The fartravelled forward will only go if he is handed a bumper contract.
Turner was snapped up from Brentford after being rejected by Charlton Athletic as a kid.
Hull boss Phil Brown said: "I've had three Premier League managers inquire about Michael but I have a valuation of him based on the current transfer market.
"If someone decides to come in and reaches that price tag, then there's a possibility we may lose him."

Centre-half Turner was a stand-out for the Tigers last season, keeping up his form even during their slump at the end of the season.

Arse on the line - In your opinion, assuming Lescott is worth £20m, is Turner worth £8m?

Yeah, don't get me wrong, if Moyes thinks he's worth £8m then he's worth £8m, I'm 100% happy to trust Moyes' judgement over my own but I personally feel he's not worth close to that & feel Brown is trying to take advantage of us getting a few quid for Lescott & milk us for some extra wonga
