The difference is, we ideally dont wish to sell Stones, hence his high premium, it would seem you want to sell Hart if you get Stegs, thus would be reflected in the price.

Just can't see us getting him tbh, but any Everton fan thinking we could do better is quite frankly deluded.

We set our valuation. If you meet it you get him. Stones and City have both known that for months - which is why Stones hasn't agitated for a move.

I mean, you paid £49m for Sterling... Stones will honestly be worth every penny.

During the Euro's one of the pundits (I think it was Lee Dixon) commented that the concern with Hart is how worked up he gets himself in the big games. Shouting down the tunnel trying to get his team pumped up but in the process gets himself too worked up and that leads to his mistakes.
The thing for me the thing that holds Hart back from the great goalies is that his concentration seems to dip if he is not busy. If he is called into action a lot he makes great saves but if he is stood watching for 70 minutes he seems to be vulnerable to counters. The best Goal keepers are constantly switched on.
That said he is easily 2 or 3 levels above any goalie we have.
