He's easily the best keeper we could actually go for, and even then I'm not sure if he'd join.

What makes people think random players from other countries are better than Hart (who is a top class keeper and also English)?

He's a big name and seems to be a good leader on the pitch. How many times does he keep City in matches?

It's not cool to sign English players, thy're all gash remember.

Never in my days did I think we, a side who has finished 11th twice on the bounce, would possibly turn our nose up at Englands established #1. I think people need a reality check. If he's available and we want him it's a no brainer.

Will he want to go abroad though mate? I can only see Liverpool and Arsenal who need him that he would join over us possibly. Haven't Liverpool bought a keeper this window and would Arsenal pay what city will want for him?

Oh I'd happily have him here

There's literally no chance whatsoever of it happening though

Meanwhile, Begovic is a deal we have an actual chance of making happen, so I personally think we should concentrate on that rather than chasing flying pigs

Hart is an unwanted distraction at this current point

Unless Guardiola has straight up told him he's done at City, there's no point even discussing it, and even then CL clubs would be after him if that were the case

Literally no point wasting time on this right now. Get in there and actually go hell for the leather to sign the player we actually have a realistic chance at. Begovic could be our #1 by the end of the week and I'd be just fine with that

We've dithered with big name players this window already. The time has come to just get people through the door IMO

I'm the same mate I'd be more than happy with Begovic and I'm not sure how realistic the Hart shouts are but the club will know either way, and they'll be working on bringing someone in as soon as possible I imagine.

If we do have a chance though, we should be all over it.
