Tottenham Hotspur

After yesterday unfortunately think Spurs are staying up. Playing Villa between semi finals, Leeds when safe and Chelsea appointed a Rosenior coach. Planets have aligned for them…..
They won yesterday, but at what cost?

They've now lost Simons—their best player in recent weeks—and Solanke for the rest of the season.

I don't think they are at the needing a miracle stage yet, but it looks to me like the planets are doing the opposite of aligning for them!

I do however feel they will stay up. They'll have an unlikely hero, probably Kinsky whose late save yesterday secured 3 points.

yeah that was good but Wolves player also tad late to react

Would prefer Spurs to stay up, West Ham fans were vile at the HD.

Whenever in doubt, just remember.

Never forget their part in *trying* to ruin English football. Let them rot.

Yes, you're right.

Beating the worst team in the league does not gloss over the fact that they are absolute rubbish and need to gain 2 points over West Ham in 4 games of not dissimilar difficulty and West Ham are on a bit of a roll whilst Spurs are only perhaps raising from their slumber and realising the trouble they are in.

Or you could look at it like this

Villa very difficult to beat away from home
Leeds with only one away defeat in their last 11 away matches
Chelsea absolutely hate spurs and would love to be the club that relegates them
Everton beat Newcastle away on the last day of the season even though we had nothing to play for and they needed to win to guarantee getting into the champions league
