Bi polarism at it's best we are. Which means that to continue the consistency of the month, that were consistently great one match then [Poor language removed] the next, we should cause Redknapps jowls to wobble with rage on Sunday.
Except now that you're full on expecting us to get beat.
Thankfully that is the last of Lisbon we'll see for this season, well most of us anyway (casts quick stare at micknick*) as eight goals and no reply gave us another two really [Poor language removed] euro away days to put in our scrapbook.
The great thing is that we're still in the league and we going all out to smash our way into qualifying for the Europa League next season. That's a Paradox, right? Not the minty club in Aintree where you used to try and kiss girls in the nineties with a bad middle part.
Spurs strolled past Bolton the other night to move to the next round of the cup, I watched it and despite the tonking the scoreline suggested, they really weren't all that. But then any Spurs fan watching us v Sporting may interject.
The jarg Brock moment of this season is commonly pinpointed at Seamus Coleman hounding them for the last 15 minutes and us getting a draw. Bit unfair on Howard that, as his penalty save was just as important as Coleman. Since that turn around moment you can only assume that Moyes has caught the young over bright eyed Sligo man in the middle of some heavy petting with Mrs Moyes as the underwhelming Hibbert and Neville have been continually employed there. We don't take training but there's a trick I'm missing here.
Hopefully that little rather ace dwarf Defoe is out with a hamstring injury as the gap toothed assassin always looks likely to grab a goal but there are numerous threats all over the pitch from a Spurs team that has performed like predicted this season for a change. I've already got my Redknapp jowls quip in so nothing to add here.
I'm sat wondering how we will line up against them, thankfully with two centre halves who haven't got a ball phobia so we can be patient and build from the back, like we have shown we can this month. Sunday's selection should see a couple of changes and give some indication of who is incurring Moyes wrath at the moment and being dropped to the bench - Bily is the odds on fan favourite at present but in fairness you could perm any one from ten outfield players there. And the subs, miss you old Yakubu x
The month is nearly at it's end and we have some positives to take away from it although frustratingly Everton esque we have [Poor language removed] ourselves somewhat in the games we really wanted to win most, the Sporting tie and Liverpool.
