The lads in meltdown , the brain is a mysterious thing he might never recover from this loss of confidence .

Its his own fault for playing for them .

I feel sorry for the lad. It can't be easy going knowing Liverpool fans are enjoying what we have to agree so far has been a hugely difficult transition from club to club.

I think Rafael could have ruined him. It's fairly well known that he was always rushed back before he was fully fit when he was injured, so he might have recieved some permanent damage that the Chelsea medical didn't pick up.

I can't believe Chelsea paid £50 million for him. His injury record... his record of coming back from injury early... his poor form for 18 months....

It's a shocking gamble, really.

How much of his problems are down to the ****e though??

He is,to me world class (not this season granted) a player who i would gladly pay money to watch but theres no doubt Rafael going did something to his noggin perhaps even before but made worse by the great man leaving,i take no joy really watching him atm yes he's a girls blouse but a class girls blouse.

He will need to go back to spain and soon (if anyone can afford or want him of course) and i'm pretty sure he would make a good recovery perhaps to his level of before his problems who knows.

No i'm not a closet RS fan but over the years i've said on here time and again Torres was their one player i would have wanted to play for us he's class and i for one hope he does make a comeback becuase strikers of his pedigree are few and far between even if he is a bit of a girls blouse.

And no i still cant understand why he went to chelsea..

I don't doubt his ability, just curious when he may get it back. He's got the Bilyaletdinov confidence virus on high

I can't ever remember such a change in fortune for one player and I'm not just talking Chelsea. He was awful in the World Cup and the best part of a year or so at Liverpool. V weird. To then throw 50m on him, was a massive gamble, especially as Chelsea really needed the Torres of former glory, scoring for them, right from the off. They needed an instant fix. I honestly think, and said at the time, I would have bought Bent in at Chelsea over Torres.

What made it worse, if they were top, it wouldn't be such an issue. But they're not, they too are struggling and it's probably gonna come all down to Torres probably. If he had just scored 40 goals last season, the 50m would have been justified, but its a massive gamble

Next season, if Chelsea change their system and Drogba moves on, I think he'll then start finding his form

Her has never ever ever been technicaly gifted....He's a fantastic finisher infront of goal...but as a footballer he is a complete donkey.

I think luck had a major part in him scoring freely at liverpool. His talent lies in putting the ball between the sticks.

I think his luck has finally ran out. He's has some great chances and he's been very very unlucky.....

£50m far too much....But then again Andy Caroll for £35m anyone????

Yes and yes on both counts for me.

Toress is amazingly techicaly gifted for a striker.
