The guy is on a downward spiral;he's not the same player and never will be;sure he will have the odd bit of brilliance but generally he's done for. If you can't score with the talent that surrounds him at Chelsea then what hope is there for him. He needs to drop down to the Championship that is more his level now, him and Yakubu.

I would probably root for him more if he was on another squad. He started to whine alot there but that happens to everybody who wears the red shirt today. I think there is a little Michael Owen in him and those long seasons have taken their tool on him. He also hasn't been the same since Xabi Alonso left.

Probably better off in a league like spain in which he'll have more space and not get tackled.
