Even a fantastic album has several rubbish songs on it.

I just prefer singles, cuts right to the bands sound without having to listen to their Creative HyperJarg.

Earth - Primitive and Deadly.
The Bug - Angels & Devils.
Chronixxx - Dread and Terrible (strictly speaking an EP).
Alcest - Shelter.
Wolves in the Throne Room - Celestite.

Those are the albums released this year I've listened to most.

Nor me. Havnt a clue who is Number 1. Probably couldnt name a Number 1 single from the last 5 years either. Would know the song, just no idea about the charts or anything.

Though its a departure from what Devin does normally, have you tried Casualties of Cool's album? It's him and some female singer, its really chill and enjoyable.

Was meant to see Earth and the Bug (and a 20 min collab between the two) at an ATP festival but then ATP decided to cancel the festival with 2 days notice.
