The BBC have posted an article showing the 20 richest clubs in Europe in terms of revenue. Barcelona top the list with Man Utd coming in second.

It's pleasing to see Everton come in at 19th but it adds to the frustration knowing that we have the 8th highest revenue in the Premier League but still struggle to get up to 8th in the league.

One thing it does show is just how far ahead the English Top 6 are in terms of revenue. You can add together West Ham & Everton's revenue (7th & 8th) and you've still got less than Arsenal in 6th.

Another positive is that when looking at the top 20, it's a list of the top Champions League teams until you get to the likes of Everton & West Ham. It's information like that, that has brought Ancelotti to the club. He sees the potential and where Everton can get to. Financially we can compete with the Champions League teams. We just need to show it on the pitch.

Given their position that's obvious but I still don't know the sources. From what I've heard ticket prices are low relative to the Premier League and TV money is, I assume, a lot lower.
They are like the Manu of German football .
The position they are in will command top dollar for anything or anyone that wants to associate themselves with the club.
Guaranteed Champions lge every season regular Bundasliga & German cup winners.
They are truly massive.

So shirt sales and sponsorship. Fair enough.

Liverpool will have the biggest turnover in the premier league within 2-3 years.

United's revenue predicted to be £560 million in the next set of accounts, Liverpool will probably leapfrog them next year tbh. Although mitigating factors in that they are coming to the end of some of their larger commercial deals. Whether they'll be able to get an increase on them is another thing though given how much of a shambles they are and likely missing out on CL for another year.

Unreal how Klopp has transformed that club on and off the pitch.
