To the tune of Ronan Keating - "When You Say Nothing At All"

It's amazing how much you have Everton at heart,
Without playing that well, you still play a part.
Try as I may, I can never explain,
How you continue to get a game.

[CHORUS]

He plays at right back, and he does so terribly,
And you keep getting games, how or why I just can't see.
But as a centre-back you were fantastic, even though you're not tall.
And you played your best, when you played City at home.

All game long, he just stands there wiping his nose,
And when he tries to clear, into the stand it goes.
Try as he may, over the halfway line,
He just never seems to shine.

[CHORUS]

He plays at right back, and he does so terribly,
And you keep getting games, how or why I just can't see.
But as a centre-back you were fantastic, even though you're not tall.
And you played your best, when you played City at home.

He plays at right back, and he does so terribly,
And you keep getting games, how or why I just can't see.
But as a centre-back you were fantastic, even though you're not tall.
And you played your best, when you played City at home.
WORST THREAD EVER

Never heard the song, and am a HUGE hibbert fan, but i liked this:

All game long, he just stands there wiping his nose,
And when he tries to clear, into the stand it goes.

you could have gotten a steve watson sweaty back reference in there too!

Creative, but just harsh to our cult favorite blue. Nothing but love for hibbo.

No you don't understand, I absolutely love the guy. I've actually sang a song about him - it's on YouTube.

It's the fact he's just a normal bloke who somehow gets games for Everton against all the odds that adheres him to me!

I wrote one once about Phil Jagielka once.

It was called 'He's passing to Distin", based on "He's going the Distance" - By Cake
