mythbuster

Player Valuation: £35m
Loved our Tony did I. He had so much natural ability, but wasn't up for it physically. I remember him scoring what was either a worldie or a complete fluke in one game. I met him in town not long after, and asked him if it had meant to be a shot. He replied "of course it was."

Anyway, who remembers the goal, and do you think it was a worldie or a fluke? Also, how good do you think he could have been if he wasn't made out of glass?

I thought he was very skillful. Weren't he nicknamed Grantona.... A bit like Vaughan, his development was hampered by injuries.
He flattered to deceive most of the time imo, agreed that injuries didn't help him, but 60 appearances over 6 years tells it's own story

great lad, great evertonian and loves Van Morrison.

unfortunately was made from finest bone china.

proper blue is Granty

I loved him. Gave me brother his most improved player award at Pro Soccer Schools in 1996. I remember pundits raving briefly about him and Joe Parkinson as a midfield duo (Grant I mean, not our Luke).

If we'd been able to play a midfield of Limpar-Parkinson-Grant-Kanchelskis with Ferguson up front more often we'd have had a great side in the mid-late 90s. As it was all 5 of them seemed to be injured constantly.

Got his move to Rangers on Kanchelskis's recommendation. Not bad, that.

He would be great on todays game, reminds me of Osman.
