Davide Ancelotti on most improved player since he’s been at the club:


“I think Tom Davies.

"Tom Davies improved his qualities because he is a guy with a really good learning capacity. When you say one thing to him, it's enough, you don't have to repeat things.

"I think he has improved a lot, the way he is able to play under pressure, the personality he shows when he is on the ball, when he is defending, how he helps the others.

"I think in this 15 months we have been here, he is the player who has impressed me more. His progression has been really good.”

Where's the 'personality on the ball' stats sky? Conveniently leave that out. Don't cha.
 


He's had to do the job of two players essentially since Gomes went off. Been helped by the fact Palace have been largely dog muck but he's done everything required of him, been unlucky as well because I've seen him fouled at least 3 times and get nothing. Never a no.8 but is growing into a a very effective no.6.
