Just doesn’t possess the tools to be a top flight footballer.

Again, don’t doubt any blue wouldn’t want him to be good.

But he’s now made over 120+ appearances for Everton and it’s more than enough time to make his stake for a place, which he just hasn’t taken.

Wish him no harm, but again, we’re trying to turn a corner and become a contender for Europe, and we won’t do that being a basket case club.

Wish him luck if/when he moves on, but he’ll never be an Everton midfielder.

At least Davies/Doucouré coming in, takes him out the firing line.

Showed some good moments and showed some bad moments. The flaw he has which is really standing out are his poor positioning and lack of concentration

He's never in the right position to receive a ball hence he just pops it back to where it came. And he very rarely wins 2md balls or 50/50s because he's not alert to it.

When he took the ball in space and turned and was driving at them, that's the Davies what we would all love to see.

The Davies who gets beaten or somehow fails to win a 50/50 when it's 80% in his favour or the Davies who misplace a pass when it's actually harder to do it wrong is not the Davies that's going to have a long Everton career.

He probably done enough to keep his spot on the bench for Saturday but needs to really work on his focus and concentration because a lot of his mistakes are due to this.

Think Gordon might have taken that tbh even out of his natural position

Seemed to spend quite a bit of time dropping into the back line when defenders went forward, tracking runners and playing simple passes.

Given the line-up I very much doubt Ancelotti gave him any license to get up the pitch.

If true, sound fella.
