Barry wont sign, IMO.

We need 2 strikers, I dont care what else we buy, as long as we buy 2 frigging strikers.

Tend to agree of Barry, end of the day one of the things we like about him, his professionalism will mean he will make a decision not based on emotion, but down to what's best for him, and ultimately it won't be here but will likely be Arsenal or Spurs - higher 'profile' more money.

Think if we get Traore again we will only need one mate signed for a decent wedge, maybe see another coming in from abroad on loan as a punt but not 2 bought for 10m+ like some have said

Georgina Dorsett

Compared to the beach shots she looks bang average there.

Potential failure on the medical. No doubt Bobby Martinez will look elsewhere

we have Lacina and Hope and Chris Long, plus Kone and Naismith and Mirallas can play up front

we dont have lacina at all. Hes also gone back to Monaco technically.

Up front we current have Kone and Naismith.

That disturbs me. We need 2 quality forwards as an absolute priority. Were swamped with midfielders.

Im not even worried about Barry. Hes just had the best season of his career for a long time in terms of game time...and now hes dragging his feet and looking at options? [Poor language removed] him. Think Gibson can come into his role along side McCarthy.

But forwards were desperate for. We need 1 of either Lukaku, Bony or Remy as our first choice, then i expect the second to be a loan.

Deulofeu part of Enriques plans apparantly so not coming back either. Not even concerned by this. The lad didnt do enough to be a starter for us next season. If everyone over there is deluded enough to think he can go into the Barca 1st team then leave them to it.

Rather get the starters we need in before getting the squad players in myself, need a striker a left winger and to sort the Barry situation out, if Barry signs we don't need either of these two imo assuming Gibson comes back strong this pre season, they will just make it all the harder to progress Lundstram and Ledson through who could be the future.

Doesn't work like that tho pal. You don't sign in order of need. You have to do it as and when a deal can be done!

Think Barry would be very silly at his age to risk a move to spurs or arsenal over us where he could end up in the same situation he was in at city.

Lundstrum, I don't think is gonna make it tbh. Maybe as a back up but not as a regular starter. Ledson I'm sure will make it tho...

With our cash vs the money teams it's kind of the deals we have to do (Cleverley) in the hope we can bring out the initial potential that hasn't happened for whatever reason. Sometimes it will, sometimes it won't...

Barry will sign for the team who offers him the best package, more than likely Arsenal.

It's a bit early to be getting all disturbed mate, it is only the 20th of May?

Pretty much nailed on is it. This is like the 3rd Echo story? Seems to be a common theme since Roberto came in, there was tons about McCarthy before he signed, a lot about McGeady before he signed and now with Cleverley a story or two a week.

could just possibly be they wrote it before, now some jarg rumours have come out about united wanting mccarthy and as both players play same position for respective clubs it gave them appropriate ammo to run the story again.

hope not complete waste of money and would make me question RM's ability at scouting talent with most of his money signings being ex players at other clubs.

Would much rather Diame for £3 mil than this waster.

Playing poorly at one club doesn't mean you'll play poorly for the rest of your career at other clubs.

He was playing out of his skin for Wigan under Martinez, which led to the Utd clamour to 'bring him back for the first team squad'.

I'd rather we didn't sign him, as I don't want anything to do with Utd in any fashion after what's gone on over the past 10 years, but I trust RM's judgement.
