Yakubu and Jo isn't working.

Should we go with Saha and Aggard?

Neil and Heitinga are back, but Baines, Osman, and Yobo are still doubtful.

Neil is a right back / central defender.
Distin is a central defender / left back
Heitinga can play Left back / central defense / Defensive mid.
Hibbert can play Left back / Central defense / Defensive mid.
Mustafi is a central defender.
Duffy is an International central defender.
Coleman is a left back.

Is it time to give a kid a chance to play in his proper position, or will Moyes pass up on the opportunity and play everyone out of position?

Surely if Duffy is good enough to play for Northern Ireland then he's good enough to get a game when we have injuries.

If we were brave, we could play:

Hibbert .. Duffy .. Neil .. Distin
Gosling .. Heitinga .. Rodwell .. Billy
.............Aggard .. Saha

Fellaini, Cahill, Yakubu, and Jo have been poor recently, but will probably all play.

Moyes will probably play:

Hibbert .. Heitinga .. Distin .. Neil
Cahill .. Fellaini .. Rodwell .. Billy
...............Jo..Yakubu

Who would you play, and would you be brave, or play the plodders like Moyes probably will?

Hibbert .. Heitinga .. Distin .. Neil
Cahill .. Fellaini .. Rodwell .. Billy
.............Saha.....Yakubu........

I would play that, baring injuries. Personally I cant see Billy being fit, so in that case I would play Gosling on the right, Jo on the left, Cahill SS and drop Saha.

But who am I to question the team selection of 2 times LMA Manager of the Year.

And your team isnt brave, its stupid, why play Duffy against Kevin Davies? He would destroy the young lerd.

And no, we shouldn't play Agard. Fellaini or Cahill will probably play behind Louis Saha with Yakubu and Jo on the bench.

I'd be happy with Yakubu and Saha leading the line.

Still paying a price for a heavy few days in lisbon ( not the one in town) i just hope the team he plays today can find a higher gear than they had mid week and Im sure now after seeing Thursdays game he was holding players back with a eye on today. A bit of passion and determination i all I want, and 3 points.:@

3 times LMA :)

Davies can destroy anyone on his day, but Duffy is worthy of a run out. If we don't want to use him, why put him in the squad? He has to get in sometime, and Davies is much less of a threat than some of the strikers we will be facing shortly.

The same can be said for Cody Arnoux, who was a golden boy in the States, but has been brought here to rot like the other kids.

We need pace up front against Bolton, and both Arnoux and Aggard give us that.

Moyes might have won 3 awards, but he is looking a bit unsure of what to do recently with our injury list.
Sometimes when your back is against the wall, it's worth taking a risk.

Can't believe you want to drop Saha either, who is easily our biggest threat.

If I see Yakubu and Jo up front again today, I'll scream.:)

So you would rather play a young reserve team striker and a young American, rather than somebody with nearly the best current premiership strike record and an £18m Brazilian International.

Very, very interesting.

Oh and as for Duffy, I see no reason why he needs to play, we have Hibbert, Neil, Distin and Heitinga who can all play in the back 4, its not ideal, but they will cope, strong unit defensively that.

Yakubu is unfit, and not nearly ready to lead the line.
Jo is an expensive headless chicken without creative midfielders behind him.

Arnoux was one of the top scorers in the States. He is only on a very short term contract apparantly, so surely he has to get his chance eventually. Why not during our injury crisis?

I certainly wouldn't play Arnoux and Aggard together, but I'd try one out for sure.

Playing Duffy releases Heitinga into Defensive Mid, which is his best position. :)

It's not realistic really, it'll never happen and it shouldn't happen.

And since when was Hibbert able to play defensive midfield?

You basically just answered your own question, the strikers arent the problem, its the midfield and lack of creative players.

I would say Heitingas best postion is CB, he played mainly there for Ajax, if not its RB, DM is the last on his list for me.

But I agree, Hibbert should be dropped, maybe slot young Coleman in at RB.

Why would you drop Hibbert? On reputation or performance this season?
