Because we played them at their own game: up and under footy.

Play proper football on the deck at pace against lumbering giants like Watford and you do exactly what Spurs are doing to them.

Was just a rhetorical question really mate, i.e. Watford are awful and can't defend to save their lives.

I take your point about Koeman's "hoofball" style though and the pigeon bit made me smile

Yeah it certainly looks that way. They do play Chelsea on Wednesday so it's understandable. Should be a cracker.

I honestly wouldn't worry about the top 6 this season. We were never ever ever ever going to get close to these teams.

Spot on maintaining 11th will be just about achivable unless we buy well in Jan and get a smooth blended team formation from then on!

Possibly so, although to be fair it's difficult to fairly judge because as others have rightly mentioned Spurs offer their striker much more.

Rom's goal scoring return is remarkable when you consider how much dross service we've offered him at times.

Others are able to work off Kane because they know the ball will stick when it reaches him.
