Dunno but I guarantee someone was saying the same thing about them and comparing them to transfer fees of yesteryear. None of the current fees are crazier than previous fees - footballs just become a much bigger business and as such demand and supply drives up prices to what the market is willing to sustain.

That said, Alec Cleland would be in the Cuco Martina bracket.
