I got GTA4 for £4.99 on Steam the other day, it took me a week to dl it.

And then I discovered it ran like a turd on my computer. Meh.

Just played about 15 minutes of TIMESHIFT and damn if it didn't feel like a sequel to Half Life 2. :huh:

Very similar feel to it, but better graphics.

I wonder if the same engine was used.

Killing floor is very similar to Left 4 Dead, but a lot harder and better AI.
At the end of each battle, you buy bigger and better weapons etc from the trader.

Very good I have to admit.

They spawn off so many series from the same game engine. L4D2 is enough for me at the moment. I'm sacrificing a huge portion of my sleep time to feed this addiction.

I got Ghost Master for a quid on Steam the other day. Good bit of retro fun.

Got Sniper Elite for a £1.50 or something too, unfortunately it makes my laptop melt.

This Timeshift game is absolutely great.
It's like a cross between Half life 2 and Crysis. Great graphics, good guns, and decent adventure. Well worth the money.

Dunno if you've played it BB, fut I really rated Far Cry2. Apparently the PC version is better than the 360, in that you can save whenever you like. There are only certain points you can save on the 360 which can be a hassle. Still, its an interesting, atmospheric game.
