Toast, How do you cut it?

...don't eat toast, make bacon or sausage on toast for the kids when they're home and cut straight across the middle.

One usually cuts ones toast with one of the following....

chin chin
bottoms up
down the hatch

Toast is crap on its own. If there is no sausage, bacon , cheese or eggs or other sound scran involved it's going in the bin . And it must be brown bread toasted . White bread for cold sandwiches .

toasted brown is like eating a ryvita.

Whitebread.... not farted about with.

Is this what your parents slogged for to bring you into this world? Is this what the state paid so handsomely for in terms of education?

The world is still in the grips of economic heartache. A whole new front in the war of terror is opening up in the Middle East. The political variables of Left and Right are being torn apart. The world's ice caps are melting. Martinez, Elstone and Kenwright are taking us through a footballing revolution on and off the field.

And all this time and effort is wasted of toast?

The only reason I asked in the first place is that it took the best part of 8 years for me to remember not to cut the wife's toast or sandwiches from corner to corner ( the way i like it) but ever know and again I do it out of spite
And corner to corner just seems right to me. As if you buy a sandwich from a shop most except the odd one or two of them are cut corner to corner I assume to allow you to view the contents of said sandwich while it is on display.

Where's the poll? For the record, I wouldn't cut a plain slice of toast. If it's a toasted cheese sandwich, I cut it in the middle to let the cheese cool a bit quicker.
