Welcome to Barcelonaton FC
Having pretty much gave Mark Hughes a Manny Pacquiao style right hook to his Ricky Hatton manc looking chin in his pre-match press conference, we can honestly see that Moyes has firmly put his line in the sand -
"He (Hughes) said that he was looking to speak to the people who make the decisions. Well he knows who makes the decisions at Everton: it's me,"
I'm the one who makes the decisions here, not like other clubs."
"Joleon's a massive player for us, I've always said we don't want to lose him, we think so much of him here, the players think so much of him. We don't want Joleon to go, simple as that."
"Lescott has had his head twisted in all of this. I hear that City think they are talking to people who make the decisions here, well that's me.
"I make the decisions, they have not talked to me and the player has been consistently told he is not for sale. He should get his head around that and get on with his career."
Kenwright isnt that thick to go behind his back after that.
So safe to say Lescott will be playing tommorrow (hopefull)....
Has the wind changed the sails and are we still pissed at Lescott for his actions (late in the day transfer request).
Do we boo the [Poor language removed] out of him tomorrow and batter his confidence?
OR - do we back him and support him fully so he doesnt get his head down and feels wanted again?
Or do we do what the RS do and burn our players shirts?
