When I saw all the people helping out business & shop owners, walking off with stuff down the street, my 1st thought was "is this legal looting" they'll have no leccy but a 62" 3dtv on the wall and some bagger pedalling like feck to power the thing.

ok i'll admit earlier on i was pretty sensitive to the whole situation that is currently going on. I live in one of the areas that have been the worst affected here but have spent the last couple of days in areas far worse affected then me. Today i went to the pub to have the first decent meal i've had in a week or so and wore my Cahill strip. I got so many pats on the back and kind words of support and gratitude for what Timmy is doing it made me feel so happy that for a few hours i actually kind of forgot about what we have been thru.

for those that took offense to my posts earlier (chico) where i was maybe a little to sensitive i'm sorry but its been the hardest experience i have ever had to deal with and i hope i never have to and none of you ever have to deal with what we are currently going thru.

COME ON YOU BLUES! do us proud and keep that red ****e where they belong below us on the ladder!

It was me being the [Poor language removed] mate. Glad you and yours are safe and good luck with getting over it. I've got a mate over there who said it's horrific.

That's me but I'm hoping there are no more losses or destruction and that The people affected can get their lives back on track.

Seeing the way people are pulling together and Knowing the Aussie spirit (Cliche but real) I'm sure you will.

the toll is now up to 18 people dead and may still rise as they keep searching areas that are only just now able to get in to. The no. of missing people has come right down not sure exactly what the total is. I'm so exhausted i've taken today off work cause i threw up when i walked out the door this morning to head in to the office.
