Never failed me yet

Cant take it camping though can you :D
 

32 in june! I use them coz they work and I can not ever use a proper tin opener. Pretty sure they are right handed only.

Hardly use it though as I try to get tins with the ring pull!


Oooh snap.

I once spent about 90 minutes trying to open a tin of tuna on holiday with one of those penknife ones. It was like trying to cut through a car door with a butter knife.
 
Swiss Army Knife still rippin the tops off the cans, Mrs still cack handed and looks like she's gonna damage herself more than the tin.

I've prob saved a tidy penny in tin openers since I decided to use the Swiss Army Farmer that I have, wish mine was blue like this one though.

Could try spending a few more quid on one - £4 aint much...false economy buying cheap ones all the time

In which case they should carry a tag that says 'this is cheap crap and not fit for purpose' a can opener should at the very least open cans.

I still blame Thatcher for it, even in the dark days of the 70's a striking worker could take comfort in the fact that should he wish to open a can his implement for such tasks would not fail him.
