Tim Howard is building Tim up to be a future Everton legend, and I have to agree. I have sat back and thought about what he brings to the Everton team.

OK, I have criticised him in the past, he sometimes labours with no result and throws himself around trying to win free kicks, but then when he's on his game he's superb.

I dont need to clarify his virtues but for me, I would want to play alongside him, I would want him lining up with me against the opposition who still dont know how to play him, hes tough, strong, and a pain in the arse for the opposition.

For me Tiny Tim Cahill goes down as a legend, next on my list since Duncan Ferguson.

Tim has done so much for us.

When he nodded in against City the other night I thought, "Again....unbelievable....","This guy is what dreams are made of, proper Everton legend just there...!!!!"

If the rest of the team performed like Tim we'd win the league. He can't do it all, but he gives it a good go.....9 goals this season? woah.

The thing about Cahill is that it doesn't matter who you are - he's not scared of you. He respects no reputation other than his club's and he makes himself be a better player than he has any right to be. Already an Everton Legend for me.

With respect , mate . He's BEYOND the Big Man .

We've moved on . FAR , FAR ON . Yet , each time , our little Convict has just stepped the fuk on up . EVERY FUKN TIME !!!

The RS ARE TERRIFIED OF HIM .

Stand on me .

Thus ; IF ONE MAN CAN LOVE ANUDA MAN; I LOVE TIMMY !!!

Vero .

The Man is god, just look (and no disrespect to arteta) a team with 11 tim cahills in it would batter a team of 11 artetas or any other player playing in the prem.

Mancini's face.....oh Mancini's face when he nodded in the other night. Mancini looked like a bond villain who's plan for Global domination has been scuppered....I loved that Timmy made him that mad. Mancini had obviously recognised Cahill as our main threat, but his rich kids couldn't stop him....

muhahahaha!!!

In my opinion, my fellow countryman's biggest assets are (listed from most important):
a. No respect for reputations. The man has shown this on many occasions, at all levels of the game.
b. Leap. He has admitted to have done plyometrics (jump training) from any early age. It sure hasn't gone to waste.
c. Stamina. The words 'lost' and 'cause' are not in Tim's vocab.

Forget about 'future' legend, Timmy's already a legend. (unless he knocks his head somewhere and decides to play for the other lot).

There is more chance of the moon flying off into outta space and the world's geology and gravity reversing in polarity.

How could you ever of criticised him? He gives 100% every time he plays..He certainly does stand next to Duncan on the podium..

Never have I critisised the bloke. Not once. He is simply the best player of the Moyes era and will go down as the Everton legend of the Noughties!

There has always been a shower of Evertonians who mock him, but someone with abit of footballing knowledge could always see what he was offering us off the ball. Dropping into the midfield when defending and closing down and hustleing the opposition, something that goes a miss with some Evertonians.

The lads a legend on and off the pitch and genuinely a nice bloke always there for the fans. Just hope we can win a trophy whilst hes still with us!

Respect Timmy (y)

Defo legend for me already. All the people who said he was past it when he was out of form last season as well. I knew he'd come good. If only Arteta could get back to the one we know they've both been the fulcrum of this side for years and can turn games regularly.

Once your an Everton legend that's it , there is no superior legend..I do agree that Tim has achieved more on the pitch than Dunc did , Unfortunately His temper and the fact he was injury prone hindered that...

I remember Dunc getting sent off at Leicester, right in front of us in the away end.

Gutted.

Vinny Samways had already got sent off same game for the most blatant off the ball kick you will ever see....i think.
