No, but they done a hell of a lot more than Cahill.

He's a talisman for me.

I bet you Hibbert loves Everton more than him.

Fair enough mate, your opinion and that is what an internet forum is all about. Yeh Hibbo is a boss Evertonian

I hate to bring this fool into the thread.

Jamie Carragher. Aged 32, playing for a (once) regular Champions League team. Not even close to having the ability and fitness of Cahill.

Age means shizzle.

Quality and class is the mutz nutz.

What is your point? Carragher is older than Sir Tim, and certainly is not a patch skill, ability, courage, dedication-wise on our blue kangaroo.
Confused here.

People consider Duncan a legend, he has done far more than Duncan. He is up there with the greats of our club for me

That is muck as well. Duncan soldiered on for the cause in times of grim grimness. The talent around Cahill far exceeds that which Ferguson chose to stick it out with. And a few Derby victories and well timed punches would go a long way to making our raging Samoan a figure far beyond cult favourite,

Dixie Dean is a legend.

Your telling me you'd put Cahill's name on the same list as Ralph's?

Muck muck muck. Different times, different rules, different game. Dean is not legend, he was a god. Cahill might not be Deity class but he is a superstar and he is pushing the club he loves in a place that will one day manufacture winners by the dozen.

I don't understand if you agree with me or not

Tim Cahill is the reason Everton have so many good players he drove us to that fourth place finish and the two seasons after that he was our most important player while we were trying to establish ourselves as regular top six finishers, brings the best out of Arteta and Pienaar as well, Cahill is vital and I also consider him a legend

i couldnt agree more^

cahill embodies all thats good about everton.. honest, loyal, great fighting spirit and a real leader of men. without doubt the most important player over the last 5 years. i love the man.

phil neville superstar - i stand corrected.. van der meyde and koldrup now i think about it were pretty fcuking epic.

eminem - whats more important than being a talisman?
