Two different positions. A centre half doesn't do even close to the running or work of an attacking midfielder.

Which is why you will find defenders probably have a longer use by date than attacking midfielders.

Cahill is a modern day legend. There haven't been many players over the past decade or 2 who have stood out, but Cahill has.

Did Labone, Southall, Sharp, Sheedy do as much as Dixie? No, because what Dixie did was extraordinary and his record will never be broken. But the players i have mentioned are Everton greats for what they did for the club, the same with Cahill, he has been unbelievable and i don't think anyone in that squad loves Everton as much as him.

If Cahill is fit and on form he should be played, but that does´nt mean i want any of the other guys out. Squad rotation, for the first time since god knows when. This thing is no problem, this is a god damn blessing!

Cahill is a legend and don´t any of you tell me otherwise. At least for me,

Can´t really comment on Labone, Sharp, Ball and all the other legends, as i was´nt even born then. I´ve read and heard god things about them and understand they are legends for Everton.

So don´t you take my Cahill away!
