Fans are booing him.

Hereford v Huddersfield Town: Butler backing loan star to shine - Halifax Today
Everton loanee Jutkiewicz, who has just turned 20, hurled his tracksuit top to the ground after being substituted in the Terriers' 2-2 draw with bottom club Cheltenham.
Jutkiewicz, who was replaced by fit-again Danny Cadamarteri after just 31 minutes, was sacrificed as Lee Clark's side trailed 2-0.
After two impressive performances against Leeds and Crewe, Jutkiewicz's form and confidence has dipped in recent games.
The Southampton-born striker is still searching for his first goal in Huddersfield colours after seven appearances.
But Butler, who has scored two goals in his last three starts including the equaliser against Cheltenham, hopes the fans will forgive Jutkiewicz's petulance on Saturday and get right behind him ahead of the club's trip to Hereford tomorrow.
"Lukas just needs a lucky break and then the goals will come thick and fast for him," said Butler. "He is not at Everton for being a bad player. There is something about him and the fans just need to give him a chance.
"He is a young lad and it can't help him when they are shouting at you.
"Lukas just needs to get his head down, concentrate on his own game and hopefully the goals will come."
Clark is likely to be without the services of Andy Holdsworth, who is still recovering from an ankle knock he picked up at Tranmere. Tom Clarke will continue to deputise at right-back.
Cadamarteri is in contention to start after scoring his first goal of the season off the bench against Cheltenham while Nathan Clarke (knee) could return at centre-half.
Cadamarteri has had another injury-hit campaign but wants to stay at the Galpharm Stadium when his contract runs out in the summer.
Meanwhile chairman-elect Dean Hoyle says Clark has a close-season shopping list to bolster a squad which has fallen short this term.
Huddersfield Town (from): Smithies, T Clarke, Lucketti, Butler, N Clarke, Williams, Craney, Collins, Pilkington, Roberts, Booth, Jutkiewicz, Cadamarteri, Ainsworth, Goodwin, Werling, Eastwood, Flynn.

Goes to the 1st division, hasnt scored, getting booed by fans as a loan player. Not going to make it in the prem on these grounds unless we keep the faith. Has he had a go in our 1st team? 1 10minute spell I think. Even Baxter who's 5 years younger than him played 45minutes this season.

Comparing them with other young strikers of the same or younger age - Anichebe, Vaughan, Baxter - even Cadamatari, Rooney back in the day - they all had a little bit of something about them at an early age.

Jukebox has been with us a while and hasnt, to my limited knowledge, done much. "But he's young...blah blah" and yeah I usually agree with the argument that they need time to develop. But you've got have a little bit of something special to be able to develop it - what's he got?

He hasn't played a senior game for us.

Moyes paid £1m for him, he obviously seen something he liked.

You basing your opinion on 7 games he played for Huddersfield?

Presumably he has something or Moyes wouldn't have signed him. I don't know how much can be read into his goal scoring record at that level. It's certainly not unknown for players to go on barren runs. Fairly sure that Yakubu has gone 7 games without a goal before. Has Lukas been getting (and missing) chances? How has his general play been? If someone's seen him play there and said he's been awful then fair enough, but judging without seeing is not ideal.

Of course none of this is to say he'll go on to be a great player, the point I'm trying to make is that I don't know as I havn't seen enough of him. I don't think it's wise to judge a player either way before you've had that.

I agree, I'm being harsh and my knowledge is limited.

But....I'm just comparing to what we have and how he fits in. In answer those questions GOT - What's he done to shown that he can play a 1st team game? Golsing, Rodwell, Baxter, Vaughan, Anichebe all showed something.

And it just doesnt sound good to me if he's getting booed as a loan player and hasnt scored 2 divisions below. You cant compare Yak with him - Yak has a proven record and is playing at a far higher level.

Also, Moyes bought Anderson De Silva for a million. Soon got rid of him to Barnsley where he's supposed to be doing well. So to be fair, its not being anti-youth player if I say he doesnt sound like a player that's going to cut it.

Again, anyone know what he has that makes him special or even good enough to play as a squad player? Ghost might know.

I saw a bit of him in pre-season and he looked bog average, didn't have any good attributes and was knackered after about 20 minutes, mainly due to his hormone problem.

But I said the same about Gosling and look at him, he certainly proved me wrong and looks a decent player. Hopefully it's the same with Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Nothing.

What has he shown to prove he can never play a 1st team game?

For me, Moyes paying £1m suggests he has potential.

He doesn't look like he is going to set the world on fire. But certainly wouldn't rule him out as "sh*t" just yet.

The shiit comment was meant to be in jest, but I do still think he wont break into the team and we'll ship him off. Just a feeling I got due to not hearing much about it to make him stand out.

And yes, Moyes must see something in him, but again the same must be said about De Silva - and he was off before he even got a chance.

Its like Baxter might not come to much or being a star player - but he showed that something that makes you thing "maybe". But we'll see.

Here is what I said on Kipper about him not long ago:

Definately has a problem with his fitness that he needs to fix if he's ever going to play regular professional football, I remember Plymouth had huge concerns with it when he was there on loan, seems to be some sort of illness that they can't quite pin down. Hopefully they'll figure it out & cure it quickly because he'll never have a proper career if he can't play 90 minutes on a regular basis. He does seem to have a bit of talent though, with him only being young you never know what could happen but when I've seen him (which hasn't been often, admittedly), he's appeared to have a fair bit of raw talent. If he can get over his fitness problems & keep working on his game you never know what level he could reach.

If he's getting booed every time he touches the ball despite not being at fault for any goals & in a team in which everyone is playing **** for & giving him no service, you can understand why he'd get distressed at it. Being booed by your own supporters helps no1, look at Eboue & Simon Davies, they're both experienced internationals & their confidence got absolutely shattered by it. Jutkiewicz is a young lad, he's reacted in an unprofessional way but he was reacting to a situation that he should never have had to deal with. Based on what some Huddersfield fans are saying, the only service he had was long balls miles ahead of him to chase, that's not what you should ask of a 6 ft+ forward who's got fitness problems.

I feel for him, they're going to need to work hard with him to get him over that, hopefully they will do & he'll come back a lot better from the experience

I've heard he's being booed because he acted badly to being substituted.

He was being booed before that & got subbed in the 31st minute despite everyone else in the team being crap & them being 2-0 down due to goals caused by other players mistakes. The fans cheered when he was getting subbed & that's why he reacted, it can't be a nice experience for anyone, let alone a young kid & he acted immaturely. He shouldn't have done it but he shouldn't have been put in the situation which he reacted to in the 1st place.

I hate players with bad attitudes but I don't think this lad has 1
