So, where do we stand? and what is our next move from here?
Goodison
It is home for the foreseeable, no point whining about it now, for all its pluses and negatives she is home.
Moyes
Appears to have reached the glass ceiling once again, must be infuriated, no side in any league has a divine right to finish anywhere but where is earned. Two fifth place finishes on the bounce is pretty good, but the next step was always going to be the most difficult. I do not believe we are a side in transition, I hope we are merely treading water at a difficult time and will come through it with more character and better for the experience. The players he has collected into a side are pretty much the same players that did the business last term, so we are capable.
The board
There is no single individual running Everton, so lets not tear straight into the mouthpiece of the board, they have their faults and do deserve some criticism, at the same time the gravity of their achievements must be taken on board and praise given where due.
The players
We might just be getting to the point where we start to see 90% of the squad fit and running, which will allow us the options specifically in midfield to have a range of tactics and notably provide a great deal more creativity than we have seen so far this term.
The fans
The partisan split of factions brought about by the move can now start to be healed, to much division amongst the support has seen crowds and atmosphere suffer - something that must be noticed by players and manager.

It is time to move on from the Kirkby deal, time to release the animosity aimed at the club for summer-signing 'failures', and to start to look to the immediate and intermediate future.
I would like to see players on short contracts signed up asap, I would like some agenda set by the board to openly discuss and consider the ongoing stadium possibilities, and I would like Goodison to feel like home again, the home I know it can be but has not been for some time. That last part is for us fans to tackle, Moyes has to convince players to stay and the board has to be solid enough for Moyes to have faith in. We are in this together, lets move forwards and be positive, lets not maintain a self destructive attitude, we have to want to progress and work together through our difficulties or be beaten by them.

Spot on post.
We need to do all we can to keep hold of the likes of Pienaar, but there has to be incentives besides money - can we convince these players that we are moving forward?

Generally a good post & I agree that, although Kenwright is in pole position as the Chairman, it's more appropriate to criticise the Board collectively rather than attack one individual who isn't in direct control of the majority of the shares. However, "the gravity of their achievements"? Hmmn!

Overseeing us from being in the [Poor language removed] with Johnson to where we are now.

Well, not just right at this minute but say like earlier this year like May or something.

Most sensible thing I've read all day. + rep.

Cant see any margin for progression with the tangent between on and off the pitch progression so closely linked, something will give and we may spiral into decline. I hope not, but these days we are taking a lot for granted, unless we pull something big out of the bag, our turnover is going down this year.

The stadium decision means we will be threading water over the next few years - with people just getting "furious" at Bill.
