Haha quality

Anyone see his press conference where he talked about facing Benteke as a manager and what a handful he was and how Villa need to get him back to that level?

He wasn't even even in the Villa squad when we played them under Sherwood....

Sit back and enjoy the ride.....

"One thing I can guarantee, if I'm going to be guilty of something it will be being honest." Villa are currently third from bottom in the Premier League.

Sherwood previously compared himself to a supply teacher during his five months in charge at Spurs from December 2013 to May 2014, claiming uncertainty over his future led to a lack of respect from some Tottenham players.

"I'm the headmaster now," he said at his first official news conference as Villa manager on Monday.

"If they do well they will be told, if they don't do well they will also be told and told why. You have to be constructive.

Personally I didn't mind the fella. A bit full of himself perhaps but did some good things while in charge.

Hope he does a decent job there.

I always thought initially he would do a good job.

I dont think hes a bad Manager myself, hes not good, at all, but he brings a lot of passion into the job, passion will only get you so far tho.

Good point, they are a bit of a bogey team for Liverpool as well iirc. Though that might just be at Anfield?
Big pitch like Wembley with the likes of Benteke and Agbonlahore covering ground and Delph pulling the strings. Liverpool wont like that.

Mind you, I still dont think they'll even get that far. B'burn are going to be a massive test for them.
