Stress fracture in his foot I think. If so, a couple of months out and one of those things that likely has to be managed moving forward, depending on what they assess caused it. A frustrating injury I imagine that can easily reoccur.
…I blame the boots, seems to be a curse of the modern day footballer. Firm pitches don’t help either.

They don't wear boots, they are slippers these days.
Think he'd do ok in this flat 3 we are currently playing in midfield. He was a bit dodgy positionally when he was in a two.
