Maybe, hard to tell. Howard is awful (obvs), who knows where we'd be with a keeper who can organise a defence hey?!
DeadMy ban? Today I'm allowed back in here! Where's Doug?
Agreed Ijjy. May have been mentioned somewhere already in the previous 510 pages if so I apologise! Its a stat that has been mentioned many times in the media and Souness raised it again on Sunday afternoon- a good goalkeeper (who also has the confidence of the defence in front of him!) can save you 10-12 points a season! My guess is by the end of the season TH could easily have cost us at least 10-12 points since August! Do the maths , it ain't that difficult!
He cost us 12 points in the 1st half of the season, after that I stopped counting, he must MUST have a Clause in his contract saying he must play every league game, How can he not, Martinez watch every game back a few times how is it possible for him not to see Howard is the weak linkI think it worked out the same amount of points or last season. But we were quite terrible all over the park last season so wouldn't have made a great difference. This season though...defo a massive difference.

That John Denver is full of ....Sorry for not reading through the thread, but is the Colorado interest in Tim for this window or the Summer?
Strange insight into the way the American league works here and why Howard is being linked.

The Rapids on Thursday traded up to the No. 1 spot in the player allocation rankings (PAR), swapping their No. 2 slot and draft picks with Chicago Fire.
"For us, the PAR ranking is probably the most significant draft-day deal we've done in this club's history," Rapids VP of soccer operations Paul Bravo told the Rapids Podcast on Thursday. "And we've done it for a reason."
The No. 1 ranking gives the Rapids first dibs at signing one of 23 players currently on MLS' player allocation list, should that player choose to come to MLS. The list includes U.S. national team players currently abroad, and former MLS players who were transferred out of the league for at least a half-million dollar fee.
"There's a lot of players on that list that can bring real quality to our organization, our club and our fan base," Bravo said.

Howard is probably the most high profile on that list and seeing as they have just lost a keeper, the rumours are gathering. Who comes up with this 'player allocation list'?
