I see what you're getting at but there's no need to be pedantic. Much like there's no need for anyone to exaggerate how bad Howard has been.

At the end of the day he's cost us points this year and last with sheer incompetence. We have good players in every other position but we have arguably the worst keeper in the league. No one expects Cech but it's clear we can and should have better than Howard. And whilst pinpointing exactly how many more points we'd have with a good keeper is silly, the bottom line is that we'd certainly be better off.

It's just the general impression I get, looks far too error prone.

We need to be looking at making this position a priority. A quality goalkeeper being brought in could transform our fortunes. No more conceding to the first shot on our goal after dominating a game would be excellent.

All true. But Basic goalkeeper errors that cost you a good 6 goals on top of those outfield errors shouldn't be accepted.

Cech was awful for Arsenal on his first prem appearance. And he's an experienced PL veteran.

Judging any keeper on sporadic appearances is immensely unfair. Joel has had just one run in the team in his time here and he did well.

didn't say they are. Neither Howard or Robles is a good option atm. Just pointing out even in defense of Robles if we keep screwing up at the back and giving people free headers, not closing down on crossers, etc he'll struggle as well.
