I couldn't even tell you who Dortmund's keeper was when they were having their run of Bundesliga titles and Champions League runs. Real Madrid hasn't figured out who the hell their keeper is since Casillas fell apart. City gets good performances from Hart, but the days that he actually wins them points are few and far between. PSG has Sirigu, who doesn't even make his national team.He's nowhere near good enough if we have aspirations of being top 4. It's so rare you come away from a game thinking Howard got us those 3 points. You need a goalkeeper who does that for you if you want to get to the top.
A great goalkeeper will make any team better, obviously, but it's no more important than any other position.
