If ever there is proof that Howard is the Everton scapegoat, you only need to look at the messages on here today.

Howard at fault for that goal? Amazing ! Truly amazing. Why bother have players marking on set pieces. Waste of time isn't it? It's pointless.

So your honestly saying Howard shouldn't just claim that ball out the air? Yes the marking is a joke and the header should be won but how can you not say Howard should be easily claiming that. Keepers in leagues below would be doing that with ease!

Wow! You don't have a clue! The ball was right there for him to catch or punch easily. He can touch it with his hands you know making it much easier to deal with.
If the ball was right there for him to punch, can you tell me what Naismith and Barkley are doing mate?

So you think it's okay for Barkley to be beaten so easily.

Interesting way to defend, but I doubt it's in any coaching manuals were a player can lose his man so easily and take no responbility for the goal.

The ball was right there for him to take. It's in his 6 yard box. I don't know what they are doing and I said its poor but Howard should just deal with it first, no?

Go back and read what I put about Barkley as your obviously not reading it! I said it was poor! But if Howard does his job like a keeper should be doing then we ain't even having this Barkley discussion are we? Howard didn't do his job first and then Barkley was shocking with his marking.

2 goals in a week down to barkley jumping under the ball. Move him out of the box. TH has been good this year so far so I'm not going to crucify him

Why would he come for a cross that his defender should easily cover and potentially leave the goal wide open?
Regarding TH coming to come an d cliam the ball in the air Doug he has to charge out if he flatten Ings , and RB the its no goal do you get that point otherwise just give the Gloves to RB as you are blaming him for TH incapabilities on crosses for a corner or a free kick if they are in the six yard box the keeper should deal with it easily!

So you do think Barkleys at fault?

Make up your mind fella.

Sorry mate but are you actually reading what I put! I have always said Barkley takes some blame! Your saying it's mainly Barkley's fault which I disagree with as Howard should just deal with the cross ffs! Wasn't difficult to deal with! I think a lower league keeper would deal with it comfortably!
