Come on that's being silly mate, the only differance with Joel being in goal is no one would be moaning about the loss right now, the one shot from Everton yesterday is far more concerning, or it should be.

If Barkley of Lukaku would of scored those exact same goals yesterday there isn't a single person on this thread that would be saying Hart should of stopped them, the credit would be going to the player.

There'd be a lot of City fans asking why Hart didn't stop it though. If Howard's standard relative to the rest of the prem keepers was transferred to an outfield player he'd be the whipping boy of GOT below Naismith or Kone by a mile.

why would we question the oppo's keeper? we're everton fans to discuss everton.

i don't like people dismissing robles as bound to be worse based on a handful. his performance v west ham in the FA Cup was better than anything howard produced in the whole season.

he's not great at all, given that he's young and going to learn he's a much better alternative to howard who is costing us points every fortnight it seems. he simply can't be any worse.

Yeah Howard should of done better for sure, i can see that as much as everyone else, but keep giving a side that amount of space and chances and the ball at some point is going in, no matter who is in goal. Then why does he dive at all? A dive like that isn't going to intercept any cross that goes in there, and Kolarov is 7 yards out . He's got to save it. Simple as.

The opposition goalkeeper made a awful mistake from a corner crossed in but their defence bailed him out if we had scored then yes I would have blamed Joe Hart as he came out for a cross , and missed the ball!
