Tim Howard

Just read bobbys comments. Load of rubbish. It would be so refreshing if he came out after the game and said Howard's performance wasn't good enough and he needs to improve to start the next game. Instead we get the excuse of European football. Howard stands in net for 90 minutes and shits himself when the ball comes in our box. There's no excuse for him and there's no excusing martinez's bs.

If Howard's in goal next season (because let's be honest RM wont drop him), then we're in the bottom half again.

BTW, does he play better without that ridiculous beard? Can't remember

I can think of several games he's cost us this season.

Today -2 points
Spurs Equaliser passed to a marked Distan and 3 sec later goal. -1 point at least
Man U away, runs 15 yards out his goal clear the ball to Di Maria who passes to Falcao goal -1.

That's 4 points right there and that's off the top of my head

cost us a possible win in the away derby. ah i give up, i'll be here all night mate, last season was an over achievement one for him

I don't blame Howard in the least.

Today's calamities were typical of the way he has played all season.

We all saw it....both matchgoers and TV watchers.

It us no coincidence that our season started to come alive again after he was injured and the previously maligned Joel started breathing confidence into both the fans and the defenders in front of him.

Now we are plunged right back into the doubts we had over the goalkeeping which totally undermined the first half of the season.

But it ain't Tim's fault.

Every bugger and his dog knew how badly he had been playing and how much better we looked when he was out injured. Not too many were surprised at that today.

Every bugger except one.

Roberto Martinez fetched him back straight in for no apparent good reason.....and as such I lay the blame for the two points dropped today at his feet.

Thinks there's is a lot more than that
Palace when not even challenged ball goes through his hand and hit Campbell on the head
Even Chelsea maybe a bit harsh but they had 7 shots and 6 went in
When we got to 4-3 in thinking lets keep it like that and throw the kitchen sink at them in the last 5 mins and we may knick a point
You watch the rameries goal again to make it 5-3 Howard is on the floor before he even shoots and its an easy chip
Leicester's 2nd goal in the 1st game of the season Howard is already moving to his left
Virtually gives the guy an open goal
The 2 free kicks he's conceded this year gerrrard & Laursen both not even in the corner of the goal
They should be easy saves for a class keeper
Di Maria goal for Man Utd he's on his right post for some mad reason and di Maria again has an open goal and Howard is left scrambling across his goal and is nowhere near it
I've not rated him for 5yrs and he's the worst goalie in the league

Not sure of the stats but it must be close to 2 in 1 shots on target ending up in our goal
It wouldn't surprise me if Man Utd have had more shots at there goal than us
Maybe even a few more of the teams above us

I said on this thread a while back would he have lasted 9 years at our so called top 8 rivals

It's amazes me people can still defend him on here

I'm still a fan of Martinez but if this guy starts next season in goal
Then that will be me done
And I will be hoping the he gets him the sack
