For some reason I've always rated Schmeichel, but the more I watch him the more he looks crap.

He looks and moves so similarly to his Dad that I think it clouds our judgement a wee bit.

Same. Really disappointed me this season. Obviouslt doesn't help with his defence being very Everton-like but sometimes keepers at poor clubs shine. Not Kasper it seems.

Looked good when he was fit alongside McCarthy . He's not fit and for whatever reason Martinez feels he can offer more than any other player. ...unless other players aren't fit either.

mccarthy and gibson are injured, who else is there? can't play besic and barkley together, especially not at the etihad. the next option is ledson i think, he's way too young you'd think

this is why i'd be reluctant to go far say a marshall at cardiff. keepers who have countless saves to make all game look good, but then they're always focused. totally different kettle of fish playing for a top 7 club as you have to be called upon out of the blue.

True. I'm 100% certain we need a better a keeper.

nah, begovic is probably mine, but he'd probably be overpriced. mignolet was my prefered choice 2 years ago and we're seeing how he's struggling a bit where the demands are higher, there's no reason why begovic won't go the same way.

i don't watch enough european football to suggest anyone else tbh.

Doesn't convince me personally, I'd imagine Stoke would be after a lot of money though given their strong position with Butland and I just couldn't see him being worth it.

Really, I seem to recall Colin Harvey got hid first game in the European Cup against Inter Milan at the San Siro and he was very young. Might be wrong though it was a long time ago. If you have ability you are never too young, look at Rooney.

No money left after the Lukaku deal and maybe at the time, Roberto didn't see a new goalie as being a priority. I agree though, he looks good and would have liked to see him come to us.
