Cahill just confirmed .... that he had talked to Kenwright in the past 24 hours. He also had an offer from David Moyes to join him over in Spain.

Sounds like Everton reached out to Tim with an offer but he decided to go to China.

Talked to Moyes, national team coach Ange Postecoglou, Thierry Henry and Phil Neville before deciding to go to China.
Said he would have been looking for a new club in six months any way.

Seriously have to be concerned by Roberto and all if we are making panic moves like this. Do we have any international talent scouts at the club?
Cahill. Cleverley to come I am sure. Expected more from the Manager when he came in...

Depends on what the offer was. Could have been to be a depth player with an impact role off the bench when needed followed by a coaching role. Guess we will never know!

Just worrying to me in general with all this British dross we keep getting linked with. Thought we would have gone more Continental/Latin from Roberto if he wants to adopt such a game style.

To be honest i loved Cahill but i would be embarrassed for Everton if we needed to get him back now and couldn't find a better option. Top guy, top blue, last thing we want to do is tar the great memories we have of him.

Good thing there is we're getting linked too and not actually signing them, hopefully he brings in a few foreign bits of flair in the summer when a big overhaul is needed. Hes supposed to have had scouts all over the place
