I'd bring him back like a shot.

Available on a free? Won't want mad wages? Genuinely LOVES Everton? Never stopped talking about us or our results even after he left us.

He's a leader and a battler, something in very short supply at the club this season.

Nobody is saying bring him back to play every game. But he's an extra body, he'd be a great Plan B coming off the bench (isn't that what people want, a Plan B?).

Bring him home. Give him until the end of the season. If ever there was one player I'd love to see win something with us, it's him.

He's my favourite Everton player of the past 10 years, but this would be a logical move for a club that clearly doesn't have much money.

I'm also pretty sure he'd come back to us.

I genuinely think we should get him back on a 1 year contract with the view of an extra year. Exactly what we need in terms of a squad player. A fighter who will stand up for the team and will chip in with a few important goals and give the club a lift.

Would rather not have Cahill mk. II tarnish his reputation with us. His last season already kind of did that too. Think we ended on a good note. Would love to have him in some sort of coaching role though, maybe teach our team how to score a fecking header.

These are both good points but I feel he left at the right time - we remember him well.

I'd rather he didn't spoil that, yet he would be the perfect antidote to having had Eto'o to the squad.

I wouldn't exactly be upset if he returned, however, ultimately, I'll come down against him returning, if only to protect the reputation he has here.
10 day contract would be ideal, hopefully punch the corner flag one last time, [Poor language removed] stevie, lap of honor, grab flight to Shanghai......

Stayed 18 months too long last time, high wages, not suited to the style we want to adapt too, cant see what position he would get a look in, as either a starter or off the bench. Wouldnt offer a goal threat like some think he would

Keep the good memories

Fair enough like. Cahill is still without a doubt my favourite Moyes era player and my first blue hero.
