Cal

Player Valuation: £40m
What a brilliant player he really is.

His first touch and hold up play was exceptional yesterday.

His ability to win these headers against players like Zat Knight who is 6'5? is unreal.

His link up play is good and is always at the forefront of our good football.

He can play as a target man but is equally as good when the ball is played to feet. His postioning is superb and he also offers a good defensive shift.

Superb player, always has been.

yes, i have much love for timmy..

just hope none of the big four come knocking for him, doubt he would go to Liverpool but Man Utd or Chelsea may be to hard to knock back.. I think everything should be alright though as Moyes won't let sell him and his a fairly loyal bloke..

Brilliant player and has to be the best bargain buy over the last 10/15 years by any club. £2 million for a world class performer, hats off to Moyes for seeing that potential before any of the so-called big managers got in there.

Couldn't agree more, he's a God. If I was younger I would defo have an affair with him. May he stay with us for many more seasons.

Cant agree more.

I like Alan Hansan's assesment - When Yak and Saha come back, they're gonna find it really hard to get back into the team due to how well Cahill is playing.

Anyone feel its his best season?

I'm quietly glad he's suspended for the Newcastle game - I think the lad needs rest big time. We've got adequate cover.

His best season was 04/05, he was fantastic then. I'd say this is his second best season in terms of all round contribution. He's been really good since he moved upfront.

Its think its a nailed on cert that Everton will receive a major bid for Cahill in the summer . One that will seriously test Kenwrights resolve . If indeed he does leave it will either make or break the current squad . If he does leave it will make me and many others think whats the point ? How do you replace someone like Cahill , who I truely believe is the best attacking midfielder / forward in the world .

Tim has been the best player I have personally seen at Everton over twenty years this season . Jags has been worldclass but without King Timmy I dread to think how things would have gone . He is priceless .

Moyes was hardly the first one on the scene so to speak, there were at least a couple teams who could have signed him before us, including Villa according to the commentator yesterday, a year before we signed him. We were lucky that his deal to go to Palace feel through too. A good deal by Moyes indeed, but very fortunate to get him. Amazing to think how much things could be different if just the chips fell another way.....

I doubt Tim would leave and I dont think we'll get any bids for him. I dont think he would work as well anywhere else. I think the Moyes has set the team up to play around him to some extent, I dont think anywhere else would be willing to do that.

Why is it a nailed on cert? What is that based on? Cahill didn't leave in January did he, nor did he leave in the previous windows. He himself has stated that he LOVES Everton and he will be here for a long time then he will return to Oz. Why is it wenever we get a player who plays well for us, Evertonians talk about us selling him and 'testing Kenwrights resolve'.
