£4 million is a very generous offer for a mediocre player wth a bad attitude, cash in now while we can.

Mind you if 5.5m or whatever it was for McFad was the going rate, then 4m for Vic should be about right. Just hoping Newcastle come in with a 5m offer.

The usually reliable Beeb are reporting Big Vic is Sheff Weds bound:

Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws is interested in signing Everton striker Victor Anichebe, BBC Radio Sheffield understands.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international is believed to be one of a number of targets on Laws's wanted list.

Anichebe's season was ended prematurely when he suffered a knee injury in February which required surgery.
The Owls are also planning more talks with the West Ham forward

Freddie Sears when the player returns from holiday.
Laws claimed to be on the brink of signing the 19-year-old striker earlier this week.

Without a doubt i would accept any sort of money for Anichebe. Really lost it with him in January when he kicked up a fuss for being absolutely abysmal at football.
