I think the point is that some clubs are easier to win trophies at than others.

I'm not getting into the territory of saying allardyce would win stuff at real madrid, because I do think winning trophies is tougher than improving crap skint teams, but I don't think there's been two clubs easier to win trophies at than mega rich man city and post calciocaos inter outside scotland.

The way Lampard, Drogba et all made Avram Grant look half decent would be my evidence for that.

He didn't save them, though. He got them relegated. He won a cup with them, too, which is great, but they still went down.
