Bring back the rep. A thumbs up without a comment is like toast without cheese.
Maybe limit the max rep anyone can bank to something like a 1000 so the old timers still have a bit more clout than newbies but not so much that they're overly powerful ?
Oh and make sure rep abuse is suitably punished via a chunky infraction. Maybe two rep abuses and you're on a weeks ban ?
It should go without saying that Nik should remain powerless.
