First time all season. Surprising considering - how well I thought we started the season; how average our performances have been since the turn of the year and how I thought all the life had been sucked out of us after that Wigan humiliation.

But shows their is still some drive in team. Although, can't see us making it four.

Yeah will be a hard game against Spurs as they are flying, and Bale who is turning up every game for them, but we could have been out if we got beat yesterday.

Momentum is a massive thing in football. Imagine we'd gone into the Spurs game on the back of three league draws.

Deal with Bale and Spurs become much less effective. Next week is winnable.

I completely agree, we shouldn't fear Spurs they should fear us

The bounce back didn't surprise me, tbh. It was almost inevitable. Lose a big match that actually meant something; win a couple of games on the rebound.

Spurs were off the back of 3 straight defeats before yesterday & they're taking the "one man team" thing, to Messi levels with Bale. Here's hoping he gets crocked by Basel on Thursday.

I'd feel a lot more confident about Spurs with Fellaini and Pienaar in the XI.

We should look to replicate the job Fulham did on them a few weeks ago. Kept it pretty tight and took their chances to break when the opportunity presented itself. Nullify the Bale threat (easier said than done) and we're half way to victory.
