Don’t doubt the protests will be peaceful but this is even more reason to ensure the protest remains classy otherwise we’re just adding fuel to their narrative.
You say that but one person, just one can hijack the protest with a pyro or pitch encroachment and that will be the story

They've just fed more hate to the fans who are staying behind to protest now.

Not only are they running the club into the ground and into the championship, they are now effectively pinning the blame directly onto the fans, trying to turn everyone against us.

Doesn't matter if they attend or not the coward's will see all around the news and media what's getting done after the game

We are all unhappy with the ways things are but this is disgraceful and and embarrassment to all of our decent fans. Sad day for the club

So, erm, if you don't like bill and the cabal and don't want them there at games all that needs to happen is throw a few anonymous threats via twitter or whatever and they'll head for the hills?

Seems an odd thing to advertise.

pish takers, crackpots and other sides fans can now get in on the game because of guaranteed reaction.

players get media training, dealing with the public and the pressure etc... Does this explain a few things? Are the Everton board above such matters until occasions like this or simply ignore the training their employees are expected to go through?
Or could it be that the unprofessional attitudes, and complete lack of awareness of self and of expectation have run through the foundations of the club to the point where, turning up and going through the motions is all that is required.
On the pitch
In the dugout
In the media zones
On the board
In the press
At ownership level

Utter contempt shown from top to bottom has garnered this reaction, and now it's everyone elses fault.

How very typical!
