He mentions Craig Bellamy in that article. His handling of the Bellamy situation was ridiculous. He was in the media slating Bellamy, but when Bellamy replied to Souness in the media Bellamy was shipped out of the club.

Newcastle lost a cracking, though admittedly difficult, player who Bobby Robson had managed pretty well, all because the old media whore felt he should be able to slaughter people in the media, but they shouldn't have the right to reply.

As for Gerrard, when he was in Scotland he would start interviews by saying something along the lines of "I take responsibility for the result..." then went on to throw his players under a bus. It looks like he's carrying that on down South.

I don't get the sabbatical bit. It hints at something controversial, but doesn't say what that is.

Sourness still seems to think it's alright for managers to slaughter players in the media. If Mings gave interviews slaughtering Gerrard I bet Sourness would be angry about that as well.

Alex Ferguson could rage for Scotland, but even he rarely went public with criticism of his players. If he did, it was usually time for them to leave United.

I think they’ll struggle this season.

They were able to go through our non existent midfield today, but defensively they were a wreck whenever we went forward.

They struggled again no attackers, imagine shah they’ll be like when they do face them?
