Thread Karens

I noted this post in the Dyche thread.

I like how when some of you get really upset about this soccer thing you go all Karen and use terms like utterly ridiculous and absolute disgrace. Tickles me.

Anyway carry on lads.

For a football thread supposedly full of grown adults and largely males I’ve noticed a lot of these posters appearing and getting awfully upset over matters.

As a former home of reasoned debate and wry commentary are these Thread Karens a sign of the time or part of a cultural takeover of our beloved community?

Performative rage over football moves places of reasonable debate into hysteria, hype and hostility.

Can I ask the Thread Karens, you know who you are, to consider how being a fully grown adult behaving in this manner may appear to others.

I’ve noticed it too. Dyche seems to be their biggest trigger; I fear the Karens will turn on our new owners unless they have Sean executed by firing squad within the next two weeks.

I bet they have super Bloo caps and everything.

They will not stop karening until the woke Dychocrats have been ejected from the club.
