Thoughts on Naismith and Mirallas??

What excited me most last night was the fact that Naismith, Mirallas and Gueye were all switching amongst themselves all night. That kind of movement and chopping and changing will cause all defences problems.

Perhaps, But I really didn't mean it in that way. Gosling while he ran off from us had some cracking moment for us albeit few.
I was suggesting the mindset of Naismith is similar as far as anticipating the flow of play and being in the right place to deliver and finish. I believe we will be pleasently suprised by this in the future.
When I've seen Naismith play for us he reminds me of Donovan more than Gosling albeit without the pace Donovan has. Naismith seems to have it all going forward except maybe long range shooting and he's no slouch defending too; most important of all though is that he has a footballing brain which lets him read the game and be in the right position at the right time which can be just as effective as blistering pace.
Mirallas reminds me of Suarez except he's not a enormous rotten c**t. He seems ideal as a second striker who can pick a pass plus use skill and tricks to get into position and chip in with a few goals himself. Either way adding these two players to the squad has given us a few more options on what we can play and will give us a better chance of unlocking stubborn defences.

I'd like to see us go all out against somebody.

---------mirallas----jelevic

Pienaar-------Fellani------Naismith

---------Gibson-------junior

Baines--distin--jagielka--Coleman

They're both Boss.

Total Fee = £6 million.
Total Games Played = (inc pre-season) 5 tops.
Total Goals = 5.
Total Assists = 5.

They're going to getter better too, which is nice.

impressed with both. as well as fellaini plays just behind jelavic, i think will a fully fit squad he will have to drop slighty deeper into midfield with gibson and give mirallas a free role with pienaar and naismith on either wing cutting inside and joining in. really optimistic this season i think we can do something this year and challenge the top 4, if we can stay injury free. hopefully get a get result on saturday aswell! :)

if we're gonna do that we should have jags playing behind the the other three defenders as sweeper-keeper. i bet that'd work great with 2 wingbacks

I'd love to see this rolled out:

-----------Howard---------------
Coleman--Jagielka--Distin--Baines
--------Gibson--Fellaini------------
Naismith---Pienaar----Miarallas
-----------Jelavic------------------

Naismith, Pienaar and Miarallas switching positions all game. Every game would end 6-4.

It seems like we're heading towards

------------------Howard
Neville/Hibbert Jagielka Heitinga/Distin Baines
---------------Fellaini Gibson
Osman/Naismith -------------Pienaar
----------------Mirallas
----------------Jelavic

No doubt we are a better side than last season having added these two to the mix, quality players who offer dimensions we've been lacking over the years.
