Hearing and reading rumours about this cat, on a free after the hammers relegation, definitely a quality footballer, great left foot on him and has 52 caps for germany, wouldn't mind seeing him added to the squad, by some means of beefing things up anyway, rip me all you like, i'm bored and could do with popcorn moments.

He's a good player, but as RFUS says we're overstocked in the middle.

If we sold Rodwell then he'd be a decent squad filler replacement but other than that, no.

Depends on wages. The free transfer is nice, but as a German international, I doubt he'd play cheap. If we sell Jags, I'd take him as cover though. Wages would have to be very reasonable as he would not be a starter as things stand today.

Id love him to come but i also realise we need different positions covering. If he did come, then at the end of the season when he's player of the year everyone would say "great signing"
