This was our Metalist moment.

1,000 miles away on a rainy night in a former Soviet republic, we come back from behind to record a significant victory. The manner of the victory was different in the two games, but in both cases it feels that we laid down a marker and proved something. This wasn't a great performance by any means, but it certainly showed what the competition means to us. Again and again the camera showed Moyes on his feet in the second half, stress written on his face, barking out instructions. The manner in which he praised Hibbo after the game spoke volumes - his performance "epitomised Everton FC".

I feel we're going to have another good run in the competition, and looking back this is where we'll say that it all really started.

It wasn't anywhere near as bad as Metalist Kharkiv, they ripped us apart, FC BATE played infront of our for most of the game and couldn't break us down.

If we can get through the group stages, then we should have most of our squad back.
Moyes is going to have a lot of selection headaches soon.

It is lifting our profile abroad and that helps a hell of a lot. Really like to get 3 points off Benfica or at least 1 to nail the top spot.

Lets wait and see we're prob playing at about 70% of our performence capability at present - on the optimistic side we should be very awsomeness in the next few months - next three games are vital in the league in terms of getting points on the board.
